ASCO 2024 | Integration of PSMA-PET into routine clinical practice for patients with prostate cancer

Wolfgang Fendler, MD, University Hospital Essen, Essen, Germany, discusses the integration of PSMA-PET into routine clinical practice for prostate cancer staging and prognosis. PSMA-PET is already one of the key imaging modalities at initial, recurrent, and metastatic stages of prostate cancer. In the future, PSMA-PET could also be used in these settings to separate patients into low-risk and high-risk groups and help clinicians choose the right therapy accordingly. This interview took place during the 2024 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
