WCLC 2026 | Updated PALOMA-2 results: subcutaneous amivantamab + lazertinib in NSCLC

Misako Nagasaka, MD, PhD, University of California, Irvine, CA, explores results from the PALOMA-2 (NCT05498428) trial, providing an insight into the efficacy of subcutaneous amivantamab in a treatment-naïve population with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Pooled analysis shows an overall response rate of 90%, a complete response rate of 9% and median progression-free survival of 26.1 months. Overall survival data is not yet mature, but at the three-year mark, the overall survival rate of 70% is favorable compared with findings from the MARIPOSA (NCT04487080) trial. This interview took place at the IASLC 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer congress in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
