EBCC 2024 | Second conservative treatment for patients with locally recurrent breast cancer

Jean-Michel Hannoun-Levi, MD, Antoine Lacassagne Cancer Center, Nice, France, gives an overview of prognostic factors in second conservative treatment for locally recurrent breast cancer. The time interval between the two surgeries, accelerated partial breast irradiation (APBI), and molecular classification were all factors that led to a TAM score. The new score will be an important prognostic factor for clinicians. This interview took place at the 14th European Breast Cancer Conference (EBCC) in Milan, Italy.
