AACR 2023 | Clinical implications of TNBC with LMW-E as a subtype

Khandan Keyomarsi, PhD, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, provides an overview of the clinical applications of targeting PKMYT1 kinase in triple negative breast cancers with low molecular weight cyclin E (LMW-E) expression. By identifying a novel subtype of TNBC, specific strategies can be targeted towards these patients. Potential responses to ATR inhibitors due to promotion of genomic instability is also being investigated. This interview took place at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting 2023 in Orlando, FL.
