EAU 2026 | Emergence of intravesical therapies in bladder cancer

Eva Compérat, MD, PhD, Medical University of Vienna, Vienna, Austria, discusses the emergence of new approaches in intravesical therapies, including various BCG plus treatments and other novel therapies such as HIVEC, TAR-200, and TAR-210, as well as treatments involving interleukin-15, like N-803. Prof. Compérat notes that while the follow-up periods for these new trials are short, making it difficult to determine their efficacy compared to BCG, some of these novel treatments may prove to be effective and remain in use. This interview took place at the 41st Annual EAU Congress in London, UK.
