Pandurang Kolekar, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN, comments on the advantages of SJPedPanel, a dedicated gene panel designed specifically for pediatric cancers. Since whole genome sequencing can be very costly, especially in developing countries, SJPedPanel provides a cost effective alternative, where only a portion of the genome is sequenced. This interview took place at American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting 2024 in San Diego, CA.
