Fabiana Napolitano, MD, University of Naples Federico II, Naples, Italy, explores the role of CXCL11 as a prognostic biomarker linked to relapse-free survival and a predictive factor for resistance to endocrine therapy in breast cancer. The use of CXCL11 to identify high-risk patients for treatment escalation is also discussed, which may also be useful in guiding personalized therapeutic approaches. This interview took place at the 2024 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) congress in San Antonio, TX.
