Goutam Chakraborty, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, NY, comments on the challenges of treating low-PSA prostate cancer, noting that it may not respond as well to antiandrogen therapy as high-PSA prostate cancer. Low-PSA prostate cancer also often presents as invasive at early diagnosis, requiring conventional therapy even in the neoadjuvant setting.
