BNOS 2022 | The role of polygenic risk scores in glioma diagnosis

Lily Andrews, University of Bristol, Bristol, UK, discusses causal and non-causal biomarkers that contribute to glioma pathogenesis. Elucidation of non-causal biomarkers can result in the creation of polygenic individual risk scores, which compares and predicts the risk of glioma in people with different genetics. Analyzing blood samples before and after diagnosis may serve a diagnostic role in glioma detection. This interview took place at the British Neuro-Oncology Society (BNOS) Annual Meeting 2022.
