ESMO Sarcoma and Rare Cancers | Outcomes and treatment options for tenosynovial giant cell tumors

Tenosynovial giant cell tumors are a benign, but aggressive tumor and Michiel Van De Sande, MD, PhD, Leiden University Medical Center, Leiden, Netherlands, provides an overview of the Tenosynovial Giant Cell Tumor Observational Platform Project (TOPP) registry. The study aimed to prospectively assess the quality of life and treatment outcomes of patients, and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) enable the processing of large amounts of data collected. The TOPP registry additionally allowed clinicals worldwide to cooperate and streamline treatment protocols. This interview took place at the ESMO Sarcoma and Rare Cancers Congress 2023 in Lugano, Switzerland.
