ASCO 2024 | Tucatinib and trastuzumab in the treatment paradigm of HER2-positive mCRC
John Strickler, MD, Duke University, Durham, NC, highlights the impact tucatinib and trastuzumab will have on the treatment paradigm of HER2-positive metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC). The MOUNTAINEER trial (NCT03043313) continues to show this regimen, which was FDA approved last year, has favorable safety, tolerability, and efficacy profiles. The data obtained on tucatinib and trastuzumab provides information on where this regimen stacks compared to other therapeutics and can help clinicians find the right treatment for the right patient.
