ESMO 2020 | Experience of setting up the PRECISION-Panc platform

David Chang, MBBS, FRACS, PhD, University of Glasgow, Glasgow, UK, gives an outline of his presentation at the ESMO 2020 education weekend where he discussed his experience setting up the PRECISION-Panc platform, a platform which allows clinicians and researchers to approach pancreatic cancer patients who are suitable for clinical trials based on molecular profiling. Dr Chang explains how the lag between diagnosis and treatment, and acquiring optimum tissues samples, presented challenges.
