Yeon Hee Park, MD, Samsung Medical Center, Seoul, South Korea, discusses an exploratory analysis from DESTINY-Breast09 (NCT04784715) of first-line trastuzumab deruxtecan plus pertuzumab in patients with HER2-positive advanced or metastatic breast cancer (mBC). Results demonstrated that patients achieving a complete or partial response had favorable progression-free survival and prolonged treatment duration, with a safety profile consistent with the known profiles of each agent. This interview took place during the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
