WCCS 2022 | A store-and-forward mobile application as an accessible method of patient assessment

Allan C. Halpern, MD, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, talks on a store-and-forward mobile application as an accessible method of patient assessment. Clinical studies and monitoring patient response to standard treatments typically rely on direct visits or on telemedicine that’s video-based. An app is currently under development where patients can take images at multiple timepoints during the healing process to inform clinicians and additionally performs as an efficient way of assessing new treatment modalities. This interview took place at the 18th World Congress on Cancers of the Skin (WCCS 2022) in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
