WCCS 2022 | Diagnosing melanoma in the digital era

Allan C. Halpern , MD, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, discusses diagnosing melanoma in the digital era. Together with the International Skin Imaging Collaboration, Dr Halpern aims to help to develop and promote standards of how images are taken, shared and interpreted, as well as to create an interface between the dermatology and the computer science communities to accelerate progress in applying image analysis and artificial intelligence in this space. This interview took place at the 18th World Congress on Cancers of the Skin (WCCS 2022) in Bueonos Aires, Argentina.
