Gunnar Folprecht, MD, PhD, Technical University Dresden, Dresden, Germany, discusses barriers to integrating circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) testing into standard of care chemotherapy decision making. Prof. Folprecht highlights that the ctDNA test used in the CIRCULATE trial (NCT04089631) may be outdated, however newer, more sensitive tests bring additional cost issues.
