Moro University of Bari, Bari, Italy, discusses the interim results from a Phase III ETER100 trial (NCT04523272) of benmelstobart (TQB2450) plus anlotinib versus sunitinib as first-line treatment for advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC). The study shows significant improvements in progression-free survival (PFS) and objective response rate (ORR) with benmelstobart plus anlotinib. The combination demonstrated manageable safety, with similar incidence of grade ≥3 adverse events between treatment arms.
