GU Cancers 2024 | Unmet needs in upper tract urothelial carcinoma

Monika Joshi, MD, Penn State Cancer Institute, Hershey, PA, gives an overview of remaining challenges in the management of upper tract urothelial carcinoma. Since this form of bladder cancer is rarer, standardized treatment strategies remain limited. Trials such as the EA8192 trial (NCT04628767) of durvalumab with chemotherapy in upper tract urothelial carcinoma are underway to elucidate efficacious therapies for patients. This interview took place at the ASCO GU Cancers Symposium 2024 in San Francisco, CA.
