Giacomo Musso, MD, IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute, Milan, Italy, explores the development of the Paraneoplastic and Symptomatic Score (PNSS) to predict prognosis in renal cell carcinoma (RCC). PNSS stratifies risk based on symptoms and paraneoplastic syndromes, and higher PNSS scores were associated with significantly worse overall and cancer-specific survival. The study emphasizes PNSS as a valuable tool for risk stratification, aiding preoperative assessments and guiding clinical decision-making for patients with RCC. This interview took place at the ASCO GU Cancers Symposium 2025 in San Francisco, CA.
