Gaia Griguolo, MD, University of Padova, Padova, Italy, discusses what trials she is looking forward to in the field of adjuvant and neoadjuvant therapies for breast cancer at SABCS 2021, including the KEYNOTE-522 (NCT03036488) trial. One of the main challenges for adjuvant and neoadjuvant therapies in clinical practice is deciding which patients actually need the addition of immunotherapy, and which patients would have effective treatment from chemotherapy alone.
