Sophia Kamran, MD, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA, discusses the survivorship issues for patients with bladder cancer. The goal of bladder-sparing therapy is to preserve the bladder, however, proceeding this it is critical to continue consulting the patients and for patients to undergo regular cystoscopies. Dr Kamran provides an overview of the differences between survivorship issues for patients undergoing bladder-sparing therapy versus radical cystectomy.
