ESMO Breast 2022 | eRAPID: electronic self-reporting of adverse events for patients undergoing cancer treatment

Galina Velikova, MD, PhD, St. James’s University Hospital Leeds, Leeds, UK, provides an overview of eRAPID, an online symptom monitoring platform for patients undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgery. Dr Velikova discusses adapting this approach for patients with metastatic breast cancer receiving endocrine treatment and CDK4/6 inhibitors. eRAPID aims to educate patients on how to respond to and self-manage symptoms and when to contact the hospital. The remaining challenge is how best to implement eRAPID into clinical practice. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Breast Cancer 2022 congress in Berlin, Germany.
