SABCS 2023 | Innovative approaches at the diagnosis and treatment of invasive lobular carcinoma

Jason Aboudi Mouabbi, MD, the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, expresses excitement about the inaugural dedicated session for invasive lobular carcinoma at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS). This subtype of breast cancer, often overlooked, exhibits distinct responses to therapies compared to the more common invasive ductal carcinoma.
