ASCO 2024 | ASCO 2024 highlights: the PSMAfore trial for patients with mCRPC

Wolfgang Fendler, MD, University Hospital Essen, Essen, Germany, discusses the PSMAfore trial (NCT04689828), which enrolled patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). This Phase III trial showed that 177Lu-PSMA-617, a prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA) targeted radioligand therapy, is able to delay disease progression and increase the quality of life of patients with mCRPC. This interview took place during the 2024 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
