Wolfgang Fendler, MD, University Hospital Essen, Essen, Germany, discusses the PSMAfore trial (NCT04689828), which enrolled patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). This Phase III trial showed that 177Lu-PSMA-617, a prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA) targeted radioligand therapy, is able to delay disease progression and increase the quality of life of patients with mCRPC.
