Rocio Garcia-Carbonero, MD, PhD, University Hospital 12 De Octubre, Madrid, Spain, gives an overview of the Phase II CABONEN trial (NCT04524208), which evaluates cabozantinib in patients with G3 neuroendocrine neoplasia (NEN). Preliminary results show a promising 6-month disease control rate, and manageable toxicities. The findings suggest that cabozantinib offers a promising treatment option for patients with low proliferative NEN G3, where therapeutic options are limited. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
