WCLC 2024 | How can adherence to treatment protocols for resectable NSCLC be improved?

Francesco Guerrera, MD, University of Turin, Turin, Italy, comments on treatment adherence to neoadjuvant immunotherapy with or without standard chemotherapy. Real-life adherence rates may be lower than in clinical trial settings, and patients may not undergo surgery after treatment due to disease progression or toxicity. Changes in current protocols might further improve adherence results. This interview took place at the 2024 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in San Diego, CA.
