WCLC 2024 | Adherence to adjuvant immunotherapy and TKIs in resected in NSCLC

Francesco Guerrera, MD, University of Turin, Turin, Italy, provides an overview of a meta-analysis assessing adherence to adjuvant immunotherapy and tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) in resected non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). A high rate of incomplete treatment course completion was reported but no significant differences in therapy adherence or adverse events were found between immunotherapy and TKIs. The findings highlight the need for optimizing adjuvant therapy protocols to improve completion rates and minimize toxicity. This interview took place at the 2024 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in San Diego, CA.
