WCLC 2024 | Evaluating the benefits of subcutaneous amivantamab in EGFR-m NSCLC

Mariam Alexander, MD, PhD, Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC, comments on the advantages of lazertinib with subcutaneous amivantamab over intravenous administration, which was assessed in the Phase III PALOMA-3 trial (NCT05388669). Subcutaneous amivantamab is quicker to administer in patients with EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and healthcare professionals can consequently spend less time with patients on the treatment chair. Patients are additionally more satisfied with subcutaneous administration and a majority would recommend to other patients. This interview took place at the 2024 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in San Diego, CA.
