Sabine Linn, MD, PhD, Netherlands Cancer Institute, Amsterdam, Netherlands, comments on key insights from the Phase III SUBITO trial (NCT02810743). The findings raises questions about whether olaparib is needed in stage III patients who achieve PCR and explores how PARP inhibitors can be extended to patients with HRD tumors. The potential benefit of intensified alkylating chemotherapy for certain patients is also considered. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
