Nan Chen, MD, University of Chicago, Chicago, IL, discusses findings from the TAILORx trial (NCT00310180), which assessed chemotherapy regimens in early-stage HR+/HER2-negative breast cancer. Patients with a high recurrence score may derive greater benefit from anthracycline-containing regimens compared to taxane and cyclophosphamide alone, with significant improvements in recurrence-free and distant recurrence-free survival at 5 years. This interview took place at the 2024 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) congress in San Antonio, TX.
