Bridget Keenan, MD, PhD, UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, San Francisco, CA, highlights findings from a Phase I dose-escalation trial (NCT05319314) of GCC19CART, a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting goblet cell carcinoma (GCC) in patients with refractory colorectal cancer, who have progressed after two or more lines of chemotherapy. At the higher dose level, high overall response rates were observed, with additional responses and stable disease observed at the lower dose level. Ongoing testing at the second dose level continues to show promising early signs of clinical efficacy. This interview took place at the ASCO GI Cancers Symposium 2025 in San Francisco, CA.
