GU Cancers 2025 | CALYPSO: final OS and ctDNA findings of durvalumab and savolitinib in aPRC

Francesca Jackson-Spence, MBChB, Barts Cancer Centre, London, UK, discusses final results from the CALYPSO study (NCT02819596) of durvalumab plus savolitinib in advanced papillary renal cancer (aPRC). Higher response rates and extended progression-free survival were observed in MET-driven patients. An exploratory ctDNA analysis revealed associations between ctDNA reduction and improved outcomes, suggesting its potential as a prognostic tool. These findings reinforce the efficacy of this combination, supporting the ongoing SAMETA trial (NCT03091192). This interview took place at the ASCO GU Cancers Symposium 2025 in San Francisco, CA.
