Merrick Ross, MD, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, comments on the promising results of a Phase I trial (NCT03005782) combining anti-LAG-3 and anti-PD-1 in advanced melanoma, achieving a significant pathologic response rate of approximately 67%, noting that the combination is well-tolerated. He speculates that the results of a large adjuvant therapy trial combining anti-LAG-3 with anti-PD-1, which has already been completed, may be presented at ASCO this year. This interview took place at the PRIMO 2025 congress in Honolulu, HI.
