GU Cancers 2025 | Disitamab vedotin & neoadjuvant toripalimab for MIBC in the RC48-C017 trial
Jun Guo, MD, Beijing Cancer Hospital, Beijing, China, comments on updated findings from the RC48-C017 trial (NCT05297552) of neoadjuvant disitamab vedotin combined with perioperative toripalimab in patients with HER2-expressing muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC). The combination showed promising pathological complete response rates, particularly in patients with high HER2 expression, alongside encouraging early event-free survival outcomes. The treatment was also well tolerated, with no new safety signals or surgery delays observed. Further investigation in this population is warranted. This interview took place at the ASCO GU Cancers Symposium 2025 in San Francisco, CA.
