Félix Guerrero-Ramos, MD, PhD, Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre in Madrid, Spain, discusses the Phase II portion of the LEGEND trial (NCT04752722), evaluating detalimogene voraplasmid, an intravesical, non-viral gene therapy for patients with high-risk, bacillus Calmette-Guérin-unresponsive non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMBIC). Following promising safety and efficacy data in Phase I, the current study assesses complete response at 48 weeks, alongside progression-free survival, response durability, and quality of life.
