Deniz Koksal, MD, Hacettepe University, Ankara, Türkiye, shares key highlights from European Lung Cancer Congress 2025, where advancements in lung cancer treatment and diagnostics took center stage. The congress featured progress in targeted therapies, immunotherapies, and antibody-drug conjugates, particularly improving outcomes for patients with locally advanced disease. Prof. Koksal also discusses the growing role of emerging diagnostics, including liquid biopsy and circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA), in disease monitoring and follow-up, and the expanding integration of artificial intelligence (AI) across multiple domains. This interview took place at the ELCC 2025 in Paris, France.
