Paolo Tarantino, MD, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA, discusses associations between immune and proliferation gene signatures, stromal tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (sTILs), and recurrence-free survival in patients with stage I triple-negative breast cancer or ER-low tumors, based on data from a single-center cohort. Higher immune signature scores and elevated sTIL levels were linked to numerically better outcomes, while higher proliferation scores correlated with worse prognosis. This interview took place during the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
