Jacqueline Brown, MD, Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA, comments on an exploratory analysis from the Phase III EV-302/KEYNOTE-A39 trial (NCT04223856) of enfortumab vedotin (EV) plus pembrolizumab versus chemotherapy in previously untreated locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma. The combination more than doubled complete response rates compared to chemotherapy and was associated with prolonged progression-free survival. Safety among responders was manageable and consistent with known profiles. This interview took place during the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
