ASCO 2025 | ADJUBIL: durvalumab and tremelimumab in resectable BTC

Thorsten Goetze, MD, The University Cancer Center Frankfurt, Frankfurt, Germany, comments on the Phase II ADJUBIL trial (NCT05239169) of durvalumab and tremelimumab with or without capecitabine in the adjuvant setting for resectable biliary tract cancer (BTC). Recurrence-free survival at one year was higher in the immunotherapy-only arm, which also had a more favorable safety profile. These results suggest potential benefit of immunotherapy alone over combination with capecitabine. This interview took place during the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
