Andrew Armstrong, MD, MS, Duke Cancer Institute, Durham, NC, discusses the changes in the treatment landscape for metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC) since the ARCHES trial (NCT02677896) was first designed. ARCHES demonstrated a five-year survival improvement with the androgen receptor pathway inhibitor (ARPI) enzalutamide, delaying post-progression therapies – an insight that still informs modern therapies despite the availability of newer treatment options. This interview took place at the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) meeting in Chicago, IL.
