Sapna Patel, MD, Colorado Cancer Center, Aurora, CO, discusses updated 3-year results from the SWOG S1801 trial (NCT03698019) of neoadjuvant–adjuvant versus adjuvant pembrolizumab in patients with resectable melanoma. With extended follow-up, the event-free survival advantage for the neoadjuvant/adjuvant regimen was maintained, alongside a trend toward improved overall survival. Safety outcomes remained consistent between groups. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2025 Congress in Berlin, Germany.
