Eva Compérat, MD, PhD, Medical University of Vienna, Vienna, Austria, discusses the importance of testing for certain diseases, such as metastatic prostate cancer, at an earlier stage, and highlights the need for improved communication between urologists and pathologists to overcome knowledge gaps. Prof. Compérat emphasizes that urologists should not hesitate to ask pathologists questions to clarify any uncertainties, as this would greatly enhance their interaction and understanding of each other’s specialties. This interview took place at the 41st Annual EAU Congress in London, UK.
