ASCO 2026 | CLARITY-PanTumor01: sonesitatug vedotin in claudin 18.2+ gastric/GEJ cancer

Kohei Shitara, MD, National Cancer Center Hospital East, Kashiwa, Japan, presents data from the Phase II CLARITY-PanTumor01 trial (NCT06219941) of sonesitatug vedotin monotherapy in patients with claudin 18.2-positive advanced or metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) cancers. Results demonstrated clinically meaningful efficacy, with a promising objective response rate and manageable safety profile. Circulating tumor DNA molecular responses were observed in the majority of evaluable patients, supporting further investigation of this antibody-drug conjugate in this setting. This interview took place during the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
