Head and Neck Cancer Cemiplimab Checkpoint Inhibitors

Hannah Kenny, MD, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA, discusses next steps following a Phase II study (NCT05929664) of neoadjuvant cemiplimab prior to hedgehog inhibitor (HHI) therapy of basal cell carcinoma of the head and neck (BCCHN). Dr Kenny comments on the potential for future trials for cemiplimab in this population, including studies that would directly compare HHIs and cemiplimab. This interview took place during the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
