The Women for Oncology (W4O) Initative at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) is building on evidence of the clear gender gap in oncology, with female oncologists under-represented in leadership roles in societies and clinical teams. Solange Peters, MD, PhD, Chair of the W4O Committee spoke to us about the aims and work of this inspiring movement from the ESMO 2018 Congress, held in Munich, Germany.
