Kohei Shitara, MD, National Cancer Center Hospital East, Kashiwa, Japan, describes consensus recommendations from a modified Delphi panel addressing diarrhea management with zanidatamab plus chemotherapy, with or without tislelizumab, based on data from the HERIZON-GEA-01 trial (NCT05152147) in HER2-positive advanced gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma. Diarrhea, often occurring early in treatment, was identified as the most clinically significant toxicity. Panelists reached strong consensus supporting baseline risk assessment, early patient education, proactive loperamide prophylaxis.
