ESMO 2026 | CATALINA-1: ixotatug vedotin, a claudin 6-targeted ADC, in germ cell tumors

Darren Feldman, MD, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, discusses safety and efficacy results from the Phase I CATALINA-1 study (NCT05103683) of ixotatug vedotin, a claudin 6-targeted antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), as monotherapy in heavily pretreated patients with germ cell tumors, including those with disease progression after high-dose chemotherapy with autologous stem cell transplantation. Meaningful clinical activity was observed, including in transplant-refractory disease, with a safety profile consistent with prior experience. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2026 Congress in Madrid, Spain.
