Alexandra Haugh, MD, MPH, of Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center, discusses the rationale and design of a Phase I/II trial (NCT07288112) evaluating DOC1021, a personalized dendritic cell vaccine for refractory melanoma. Dr Haugh explains how tumor-derived antigens are loaded onto dendritic cells and injected into draining lymph nodes to stimulate an anti-tumor immune response.
