Alexandra Haugh, MD, MPH, of Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center, discusses real-world safety outcomes with lifileucel adoptive cellular therapy in patients with advanced melanoma. Dr Haugh highlights the high rates of prolonged cytopenias and post-treatment infections observed following lymphodepleting chemotherapy and tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy, while noting relatively low rates of organ dysfunction and immune-related toxicities.
