ESMO 2024 | STELLAR: safety of lenvatinib versus sorafenib in unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma
Markus Peck-Radosavljevic, MD, Medical University of Vienna, Vienna, Austria, discusses the hepatotoxicity and overall safety of lenvatinib versus sorafenib in patients with advanced or unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (uHCC) as part of the Phase IV STELLAR study (NCT04763408). The findings confirm the safety profile and efficacy of lenvatinib in first-line uHCC treatment, and was comparable to sorafenib. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
